Dr. Stout is a native of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and graduated from the University of Washington in 2003 with a B.S in Molecular Biology. After spending three years working in an academic research lab he returned to the University of Washington to pursue his dental training and doctorate degree.
After a volunteer trip to Ecuador working with Children’s International and extensive work in the special needs clinic in dental school, he knew pediatric dentistry was the path for him. After graduating from dental school he completed his pediatric dental residency training at the University of Washington and Seattle Children’s Hospital, where he served as chief resident his senior year. Dr. Stout became board certified in Pediatric Dentistry in 2013.
Dr. Stout is proud to have the honor of guiding children through their early experiences at the dentist. He believes that early preventative visits can build a foundation for a lifetime of good oral health.
Dr. Stout and his family are pleased to be living on Whidbey Island, where his wife is a native and an alumnus of Oak Harbor High School. He has two young daughters and enjoys spending time with his family enjoying the beauty of Whidbey Island.
